Are you a Business Recovery and Insolvency professional with experience of working in corporate and personal insolvency?

This role can be based within a reasonable distance to any of our offices (Truro, Plymouth, Torquay, Exeter, Taunton, Bristol, Salisbury, Poole), with a mix of office and home working.

About you: 

You will preferably hold either the CII or CPI qualification (or have suitable experience), and be able to take ownership of a number of cases. You will be a sympathetic practitioner, who understands how distressing it can be for clients faced with debt, cashflow problems and creditor pressure.

You will be someone who thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding, and be able to focus on delivering the best possible levels of client service and the most appropriate solutions at all times.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be in great company, working in a professional and ambitious team that is made up of Insolvency Practitioners, Chartered Accountants, Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) qualified professionals and a team of trainees.

You will proactively manage your own portfolio of varied cases, with differing levels of complexity, taking full responsibility for compliance, budgeting and billing. You will support and delegate work to a team of Business Recovery and Insolvency Assistants. This will include assisting and developing them on case strategy and efficient case management.

You will work with companies, partnerships and individuals, offering practical and realistic advice to ensure directors and individuals fully understand the options available to them, and their statutory responsibilities and risks, when faced with insolvency.

You will support clients faced with debt, cashflow problems, creditor pressure, county court judgements, bailiffs, statutory demands, winding up petitions and potential insolvency. You  will also support the sale of business and other assets, dealing with contentious and ordinary claims, and investigating and seeking money for creditors where appropriate.
