We are currently looking for an Events Coordinator to join our Marketing Team on a 12 Month Contract.

Overview of the role:

This role handles over 80 events a year of varying size and complexity. Working closely with the other members of the marketing team both centrally and in the offices the events coordinator will organise a wide range of events including seminars, workshops, drinks receptions and corporate hospitality events.

This role does involve working outside of normal office hours and the ability to travel across a wide geography.


  • Working with the Marketing team to plan and manage the annual calendar of events. Communicating this out to the business as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the central Marketing team and local marketing coordinators to understand their needs.
  • Working with the CRM and events management system to build event campaigns, manage event attendee lists, and run the events.
  • Create and manage an event venue database and act as an adviser to the marketing team for selecting appropriate venues.
  • Liaison with venues before, during and after events.
  • Update the events section of the firm's website and intranet site.
  • Work with the team on budgeting events.
  • Production of event support materials, notes, resources and briefings.
  • Manage event related collateral such as banners, signage etc.
  • Answer queries, liaising with relevant stakeholders and escalating any issues as necessary.
  • PowerPoint presentation creation as necessary.
  • Leading the organisation, set up and front of house for events.
  • Assisting with other firm wide events.

Overview of the person:

  • To be successful in this role you will need proven events’ experience preferably within a professional services environment.
  • You will be used to using a CRM and events management system.
  • You will be comfortable liaising with multiple teams and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of all events.
  • Enjoys teamwork and working in a team environment

Qualifications required

  • 3+ years in a marketing team running events
  • Good command of written and verbal English and comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong people / interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with great administrative skills
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and good under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Motivated, goal oriented and enjoys achieving objectives
  • Full driving licence and own transport
