We are currently looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team in Plymouth.  You will be able to provide a high quality, professional and efficient Administration Service to the office.  This is a permanent role to start as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Reception cover, which will include telephone handling; booking rooms; meeting and greeting clients/ visitors; providing hospitality
  • Assisting with the binding and archiving of accounts
  • Maintaining spreadsheets of client information
  • Assisting with daily incoming/ outgoing post
  • Photocopying, scanning and saving documents and accounts
  • Preparing meeting rooms for events

Knowledge, skills and attributes 

  • Previous, relevant reception and administration experience would be preferable but is not essential
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) minimum, with grades A-C to include English and Maths
  • Polite and friendly manner and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Reliable, professional and able to use initiative
  • Computer literate, with an aptitude towards spreadsheets and word processing
  • Applicants should be efficient, methodical, organised, punctual and comfortable working without support
  • A keen attention to detail. Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines


  • On the job training in the early stages, but with further training identified and supported through our annual development and performance review process
  • There may also be the opportunity to study for a relevant Apprenticeship.
