We are currently looking for an AAT trainee to join our Exeter office. We offer a nurturing environment with a comprehensive training programme which means you get the best possible start to your career.
Our AAT Trainees play a pivotal role in our organisation as they provide support across all aspects of accounting which means you will be carrying out work such as financial reporting, month end accounts, financial statements, auditing, VAT returns and tax computations.
You will learn on the job but you will also receive your professional training via day release at one of our approved training providers. You will follow the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard (AAT Level 3) and then progress to the Professional Accounting Technician Apprenticeship Standard (AAT Level 4). These programmes will provide you with the knowledge to complete and gain your professional AAT qualification and also the skills and behaviours needed in the workplace to help you succeed in your career.
We also have an opportunity within our Exeter office to join our Private Client Tax team where you would be preparing and assisting in the preparation of tax returns, checking tax calculations and generally helping the team in managing the client workload throughout the year. If you would like to follow this tax route you will study for your first Tax Professional Qualifiation, ATT, under apprenticeship standards with our approved training provider.
